Kardam has been a former Top IPR Officer in the office of Controller of Patents and Designs, Government of India, at the Indian Patent Office, with extensive experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) laws as well as how they are executed by the Executive, Judicial and Quasi-Judicial Agencies of Governments worldwide. He is an expert in areas like Patent Litigation, International IP Laws, and Patent Prosecution. He has been the Founding Director at Levinnov IP Consultants Pvt. Ltd.           Dr. Kardam is a highly accomplished Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Professional with nearly 37 years of experience at the Indian Patent Office, where he served as Senior Joint Controller of Patents & Designs and headed the Delhi Patent Office as well as the Indian International Searching Authority/International Preliminary Examining Authority (ISA/IPEA).

          He holds a PhD in Intellectual Property Law, an LL.M. from Delhi University, and also has an academic background in Organic Chemistry. His core expertise spans patent litigation, international IP law, patent prosecution, competition law, and legal research.
